Margo Bouchet, embarked on a practice designed to protect women and minorities in their battles against wrongful discharge and discrimination. As a result, she has won major victories for countless plaintiffs. She now concentrates on Family Law.

Margo Bouchet is graduate and active alumni of the Law School at Howard University. As a highly effective Attorney who has built a respected reputation as a dedicated and determined advocate of the oppressed, Margo Bouchet has managed to juggle her role as mother, grandmother, lawyer, activist and community servant. Her service in the community has not been ignored.

Margo Bouchet is the recipient of numerous honors and accolades including an appointment by President James Carter as the first African-American to the United States Circuit Judge Nominating Commission. Margo Bouchet has also garnered awards as Best Mother of the Year from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Outstanding Woman of the Year by the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, OMICRON CHAPTER, WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from N.A.A.C.P. Legal Defense Fund, Pacific Region, MASTERS OF LAWS, Recycling Black Dollars, and ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, L.A. Howard University Alumni Club.

Attorney Margo Bouchet practices Family Law and Mediation in Los Angeles and Culver City, California. She is certified on the National Bar Association Panel of Mediators and Arbitrators.

COMMUNITY & PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Margo Bouchet has been an active member of her community and has served on Boards or held office with several community organizations, such as Board Member of the Mablean Ephriam Foundation, Board member of the I.T.H.I.N.K. Foundation, Board of Governors of the National Bar Association, Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA); Board of the Inglewood Bar Association, Board of the Langston Bar Association, Board of Trustees of the Union Rescue Mission Foundation and Howard Alumni Club of Southern California, Executive Committee HUAA. Margo Bouchet also served two terms as Chair of the Women Lawyers Division, NBA, President of the Inglewood Bar Association, President of the L.A. Howard Alumni Club, and has held offices with the Black Women Lawyers, the Langston Bar Association and the L.A. Howard Law Alumni Association.

Margo Bouchet is frequently called upon by organizations to speak on various topics ranging from Time Management to Employment Discrimination to Spousal Abuse to Enforcement of Child and Spousal Support. Additionally, Attorney Bouchet served as Judge Pro Tem over Small Claims cases for several years, in Inglewood, California Small Claims Court.
